Hi, my name is Venessa Laan Figirmow, and I’m proud to be from the island of Yap, part of the Federated States of Micronesia. My first language is Yapese, and I speak English as my second language. I graduated with an Associate of Arts degree from the College of Micronesia on the island of Pohnpei in 1996.

I come from a large and loving family. I have a half-brother from my mom, and from both my parents, I have two brothers and four sisters—making me the second oldest among them. Together, my siblings have blessed me with 16 amazing nieces and nephews. I am also a proud mother to one beautiful daughter, who is now 24 years old and the light of my life.

Professionally, I have worked at Clinique inside Dillard’s for the past 11 years, starting as a sales associate and working my way up to Business Manager at the Clinique counter. My years with Clinique have given me valuable experience in customer service, leadership, and problem-solving, all of which I carry with pride into every role I take on.

In early 2024, I began working in real estate, and I’ve truly enjoyed the journey so far. While I’m still new to the field, I’m passionate about learning and genuinely love assisting clients in any way I can. I work with a unique, boutique-style brokerage that is flexible and focused on meeting our clients' individual needs—and I’m so happy to be a part of it.
